Delta Air Lines has issued a stark warning regarding the potential impact of new U.S. tariffs on imported aircraft and parts, currently under review by the Trump administration. The airline cautioned that if these tariffs are implemented, it may be forced to halt purchases of foreign-made planes, leading to significant disruptions in aircraft deliveries and potentially grounding millions of passengers annually. Delta highlighted that in 2023 and 2024, it received 47 Airbus aircraft from Canada, Germany, and France, and without these deliveries, it would have faced flight cancellations affecting 10 million customers . The airline emphasized that paying the proposed tariffs is economically unfeasible and expressed hope that ongoing discussions with Airbus and broader trade negotiations will provide a resolution

This initiative follows a public fallout with former President Donald Trump, which included mutual criticisms and allegations. Musk initiated a poll on his platform X, asking if it was time to establish a political party that better represents the 80% of Americans situated in the political center. The poll received over 4.7 million votes, with more than 80% in favor. Musk’s proposal has garnered support from figures like billionaire Mark Cuban, who expressed interest in the idea of a centrist political party
